Zeolite Clears The Air
Zeolite improves indoor air quality. Place bowls of zeolite in every room of your house to absorb harmful indoor pollutants, like radon and other gases. Tobacco smoke is full of toxic chemicals which will be absorbed by zeolite.
This is what Wikipedia says about radon:
"Radon is an invisible, radioactive atomic gas that results from the radioactive decay of radium, which may be found in rock formations beneath buildings or in certain building materials themselves. Radon is probably the most pervasive serious hazard for indoor air in the United States and Europe, probably responsible for tens of thousands of deaths from lung cancer each year."

Zeolite is used in building materials to combat radon poisoning, read a report here.
Zeolite is also used as a room deodorizer and is reputed to help sufferers of asthma.
Zeolite absorbs positive ions while emitting calming negative ions into the atmosphere.
Many people are concerned about the effect dioxins have on their health. Zeolite absorbs, stores and neutralises dioxins.

Zeolite is Re-Usable
Environmentally friendly zeolite can be used over and over again to remove airborne pollutants.
Put coarse zeolite or micronised zeolite into a wide bowl about 5 cm deep. Place a bowl in every room.
Zeolite absorbs and neutralises strong ammonia fumes from urine. The ammonia is captured and stored within the zeolite structure then, if it is used as a soil fertiliser, it will release the ammonia to the soil as nitrogen. Read more about this action on our Gardening page.
Remove and revitalise the zeolite regularly by taking the bowl outside and placing it in the fresh air and sunshine. Leave outside overnight. Stir the bowl occasionally while it is out there.
